State Of The Score: October 2018

Annnnnnnnd we’re back.  Yes outside of a Spider-Man review, I’m emerging from my 6 month slumber.  To give some idea of the absence, I wound down my output in April to focus on my exams, and went straight from school to my new job, wherein I travel for for work all the damn time.  These days I’m in grad school, so while I’m not swimming in free time, I do have some.

Here’s the sad news.  I’m just going to announce now, the end of this year will be the end of Skip To The Score.  After that I’m back to work forever, so I just will not have the time to keep this thing going anymore.  It’s a bummer, but it’s been a good run and I want to finish strong, so lets focus on what’s coming up this month.

This month I’ll have review for NHL 19 (Go Jets) and Red Dead Redemption 2, although Red Dead may be late to give me some extra time to play it.  Movies wise I may be stopping in to see Venom this month, but unsure still, quite honestly I hate going to the theater.  I’m working my way through a TV backlog still, so I doubt I’ll sink into anything new.  As far as the podcast goes, things are tricky.  I no longer have any of the recording equipment, and all the guys (literally all) have moved away, so I’m going to try to throw together one more VGMixtape before the month is out.

That’s about it, it’s good to be back.

Justin should probably be in class right now. @JerstinRob
